Chicken Chili

Ingredients:

Chicken  – 1 cup cut into cube pieces
Green chili  – 3 or 4 chopped according to your taste
Garlic flakes – 3 peeled and chopped
Green Pepper(Capsicum) – 1/2 cup dice cut
Yellow Pepper(optional)  – 1/2 cup dice cut
Red Pepper  – 1/2 cup dice cut
Onion     – 1 cup dice cut
Tomato   – 1 cup dice cut
Cumin powder     –   ½ teaspoon
Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
Garam masala powder – ¼ teaspoon
Black pepper powder    –  ½  teaspoon
Salt    – to taste
Oil      –  2 tab. spoons

Method:

  • If chicken is not cut into cube pieces, cut and wash chicken properly.
  • Heat 1 tab spoon of oil in a fry pan and fry chicken until it’s changes the color or around 5 to 8 minutes.
  • In another pan heat one tab. spoon oil and add chopped green chili, chopped garlic and fry for One minute, then add diced cut onion and peppers.
  • Fry them for 3 minutes.
  • Add fried chicken and  diced cut tomatoes  and fry for another 3 minutes.
  • Cover the pan with lid and keep the heat on medium flame.
  • After 2 minutes add salt, black pepper and cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and fry till chicken gets tender by covering with lid.
  • Serve hot with any kind of bread or just serve as a snack.
